Black Jack Ali Forsyth has picked up a gold star for a fifth national title, earnt by combining with Matthew Gallop to win the men's pairs final at the national open bowls championships in New Plymouth.
The duo have beaten Rob Ashton and Barclay Lee 15-9.
Meanwhile Sandra Keith and Serena Matthews have been crowned women's pairs champions after a 15-13 win against sisters Mandy and Angela Boyd.
Earlier New Plymouth's Val McEldowney won the women's singles title with a come-from-behind victory against Birkenhead's Reen Stratford.
Down 9-17 McEldowney won six ends in a row on her way to a 21-17 victory.
Also Dunedin's Shaun Scott has claimed his second men's singles title with a 21-10 win against Danny Delaney of Onehunga
