Hussey steers Australia to victory

The cricketer Michael Hussey enjoyed a fairytale end to his test career when he helped steer Australia to victory and complete a 3-nil series sweep over Sri Lanka.

The home side were set a target of 141 runs after bowling Sri Lanka out for 278 in their second innings before lunch on the fourth day of the third cricket test in Sydney.

Australia lost three wickets in quick succession just before the tea-break to bring Hussey out for his final test innings before retirement.

The 37-year-old finished 27 not out and Australia reached their target with the loss of 5 wickets.
