The All Whites captain and Queens Park Rangers defender Ryan Nelsen is considering a coaching role in the United States in what would be a major blow for the English Premier League football club's battle against relegation.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp says Nelsen's been offered a role in the United States and there's every chance he might want to go.
Redknapp says Nelsen wants to be a manager and the role gives him that chance but says if the All Whites captain was to leave it'd would be a massive blow to their hopes of staying in the Premier League.
QPR are currently bottom of the Premier League, level with Reading on 13 points.
Nelsen joined QPR on a one year contract in June last year and Redknapp says one of the most professional footballers he's ever met describing him as a fantastic player, trainer and leader.
