The Wellington Phoenix have signed the former Auckland City defender Ian Hogg for the rest of the A-League football season.
The 23-year-old made his All Whites debut this year and started all 3 matches at the London Olympics.
Hogg hasn't played since September when he was with the Portland Timbers in the MLS.
Hogg says it's a good time to join the Phoenix as Herbert is giving young guys a chance and playing a new style that he believes will suit his game.
