A hamstring strain has ruled South African fast bowler Vernon Philander out of the second cricket test against New Zealand, which starts in Port Elizabeth on Friday.
Philander was man of the match after South Africa's crushing victory in the first test at Cape Town.
Cape Cobras team-mate Rory Kleinveldt will earn his third test cap as Philander's replacement.
All rounder Ryan McLaren has been added to the squad as cover.
