Wellington all-rounder Grant Elliott will replace Corey Anderson in the New Zealand one day cricket squad for the upcoming series in South Africa.
Last Sunday Anderson fractured a thumb fielding for Northern Districts and will be in a cast for next two weeks.
Elliott last played for the Black Caps two years ago.
