Black Caps face another embarassing defeat

6:09 am on 13 January 2013

The New Zealand cricket team is in all sorts of trouble after day two of the second test against South Africa in Port Elizabeth.

South Africa mounted a big first innings total, declaring at 525 for eight, with Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis, and Dean Elgar all making centuries.

In reply the Black Caps have reached 47 for six wickets, trailing South Africa by 478 runs.

The opener Martin Guptill continued his disappointing summer, dismissed for 1.

Daniel Flynn was out for a duck, as was Colin Munro making his test debut.
