Evans excited to be driving GP2

The young New Zealand motor racing driver Mitch Evans says he's realised one of his dreams after signing with the Arden Race team to drive in the GP2 category this year, the series below Formula One.

The 18-year-old won last year's GP3 Championship with Arden.

The team was encouraged by Evans' testing in the GP2 car at Barcelona and Jerez late last year.

Evans is realistic about his chances but says he always goes out to win.

Evans is managed by F1 driver Mark Weber and all of the GP2 races are held at the same meetings as the F1 races.

The GP2 season starts in Malaysia at the end of March.
