Following her epic 3-set loss in the singles, the Aucklander has now departed in the first round of doubles.
Playing with her British partner Heather Watson, Marina fell to the ninth seeded German-Czech combination, Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Kveta Peschke winning 6-4 6-0.
