The New Zealand Breakers beat the Wollongong Hawks 72-71 in Auckland to extend their lead on top of the Australian basketball league.
Coming off an impressive four from four on their road trip, the Breakers started sluggishly at home at the North Shore Events Centre before pipping the visitors down the stretch for their sixth straight victory.
Tom Abercrombie top-scored for the Breakers in the low-scoring affair with just 15 while Adris Deleon hit a game-high 34 for the Hawks.
