The Welsh golfer Jamie Donaldson achieved the biggest win of his career last night, edging out England's Justin Rose and the Dane Thorbjorn Olesen on a thrilling final day at the Abu Dhabi Championship.
Donaldson thought he'd blown it when he dropped a shot on the last hole, but neither of his rivals for the title could birdie the 18th.
It was just the second title for 37 year old Donaldson who will now joint the elite in the top-30 of the world rankings.
New Zealander Michael Campbell faded slightly with a closing round of 72 to finish a solid week in a tie for 17th, picking up 40-thousand dollars.
