England has beaten Australia 58-53 in the first netball test in Bath.
It is just the third time the Australians have ever lost to England.
Australia played without injured captain Natalie von Bertouch and they struggled in the midcourt failing to get quality ball to their shooters.
The second Test is in London on Thursday morning.
