Cole signs one-year contract extension at Chelsea

The long-serving Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has signed a one-year extension to his contract with the English Premier League football club.
Uncertainty over the England international's Stamford Bridge future had alerted a number of big clubs but the 32-year-old says he wants to win more silverware in what will be his eighth season at the London club.
The future of another Chelsea veteran, Frank Lampard, whose contract expires at the end of the season, is still unclear.
