The Australian A-league coach John Kosmina has shocked the title contenders Adelaide United by walking out on the club, and it's thought he could be in line to take over as coach of the Brisbane Roar next season.
Kosmina announcement through a statement that he was leaving Adelaide immediately due to a lack of trust in the club environment.
The end of Kosmina's second stint as Adelaide coach came amid a strong season for the Reds, who're in fourth place, just six points behind leaders Central Coast.
Assistant coach Michael Valkanis will take over the top job.
Adelaide's chairman Greg Griffin said he was "amazed" by the sudden departure of Kosmina, who had been in discussions over a contract extension.
