New Zealander John Wright has been appointed head coach of the Mumbai Indians for the upcoming sixth season of the Indian Premier League T20 cricket competition.
The former Test batsman coached New Zealand from 2010 to 2012.
Wright's appointment comes a week before the IPL player auction.
Another New Zealander Stephen Fleming coaches the Chennai Super Kings.
