Beckham signs with Paris St Germain

Updated at 1:19 pm on 1 February 2013

David Beckham has completed the formalities of a move to the big spending French football club Paris St. Germain.

The 37 year old former England captain has just held a media conference after undergoing a medical at the Qatari-owned French club, which has spent 380-million dollars in the last 18 months.

Beckham had firm offers from 12 different clubs, but he's opted for a 5-months contract with a team coached by Carlo Ancelotti who was in charge of AC Milan during Beckham's loan spell with the Italian club.

Paris St. Germain are on top of the French league, and into the last 16 of the European Champions league.
