The Wellington Phoenix are off the bottom of the A-League football table after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Perth Glory at Eden Park.
Jeremy Brockie scored just before half-time.
It is the first win in six matches for the Phoenix, who leapfrog Perth into ninth spot while the men from the west are languishing at the foot of the table.
The Phoenix are now one point off a play-off spot.
The Phoenix are away to top-of-the-table Central Coast on Thursday.
