Tietjens identifies future sevens stars

The New Zealand rugby sevens coach Gordon Tietjens says despite the loss of a couple of key players through injury, two future stars did emerge from the Wellington tournament.

The All Black Sevens are on their way to Las Vegas, 21 points clear at the top of the standings, but without their captain DJ Forbes and winger Kurt Baker who are out through injury.

However Tietjens is expecting Rocky Khan and Gilles Kaka to step up this weekend after showing experience beyond their years in Wellington.

Mark Jackman and Milford Keresoma have been drafted into the squad for Las Vegas.
