No high expectations for Nordqvist

The Swedish golf star Anna Nordqvist, ranked in the world's top-30, doesn't have high expectations for her first visit to the New Zealand Open this week in Christchurch.

In four short years in the professional game, the 25-year-old has chalked up two victories on the LPGA tour, including a major and earned $3 million in prizemoney.

She's currently ranked 28th in the world, and has already enjoyed two outings in the Solheim Cup, the women's equivalent of the Ryder Cup.

Starting a new season Nordqvist is uncertain of her form this week.

She says New Zealand has always been one of the places that she's wanted to visit so she's excited to be here, however it does feel like the first day back at school.

Despite working on her fitness and short game recently, she does feel she'll be a bit rusty this week.

The Open starts at Clearwater on Friday.
