FIFA boss says there's no stopping cheats

FIFA's president Sepp Blatter says he's resigned to the continuing existence of cheats in world football because it's impossible to get rid of them.

Responding to the disturbing findings of a European police investigation into global match-fixing, Blatter says the allegations are nothing new, and that most of the matches cited in the European investigation had already been uncovered, and some cases were in court.

But he acknowledged match-fixing as a serious danger to the sport.

FIFA announced Thursday the launch of a web page to enable individuals to make anonymous reports of corruption by officials involved in match-fixing.
