The Melbourne Tigers have beaten the Adelaide 36ers 84-71 on the road at Adelaide Arena to consolidate their desperate push for the Australian basketball league playoffs.
The Tigers' win at the bottom side in the competition keeps them third above Sydney and Wollongong - the trio are in a dogfight to take out the third and fourth places in the post-season.
