The New Zealand women's golf sensation Lydia Ko is on the road again this week seeking another national open title to add to her historic win in the New Zealand Open yesterday in Christchurch.

Ko sank a one metre putt on the final hole at Clearwater yesterday to beat the American Amelia Lewis by one stroke with a 10-under par total, becoming the first home-grown winner of the event.

It's her third professional title at the age of 15 years eight months and 17 days, and she's become the youngest winner of a women's European Tour event.

The Auckland teenager will cross the Tasman today for the Australian Open starting on Thursday in Canberra.
