The former England football star Paul Gascoigne, who is being treated for alcohol addiction in a United States clinic, has been moved to a hospital intensive care unit.
According to his former teammate Gary Mabbutt, Gascoigne had reacted badly to the detox, but he's on the mend, and should be returning to the clinic soon.
According to his management company, 45-year-old Gascoigne, who has struggled with alcoholism since his playing days, had travelled to the U.S. willingly for treatment.
