Rafael Nadal looked sharp on his way through to the final of a South American claycourt tennis tournament in Chile, his first event back from a seven-month injury absence.
The former world number one needed just 64 minutes to beat the third-seeded Frenchman Jeremy Chardy 6-2 6-2.
The Spanard's playing in his first tournament since his shock second-round exit from Wimbledon last June.
He plans to compete in claycourt events in Brazil and Mexico before playing ATP Masters hardcourt events at Indian Wells and Miami.
