South Africa trounce NZ in Sevens final

New Zealand's extended its lead in the rugby sevens world series after finishing runners-up in the lastest round in Las Vegas.

They were beaten 40-21 by South Africa in the final, after trailing 35-nil early in the second half.

New Zealand are 23 points ahead of South Africa who've moved into second place in the overall standings, with four rounds remaining.

The South Africa coach Paul Treu says to win their first tournament of the season is just reward.
