Australia's Olympic Committee has decided it'll be compulsory from now on for the country's leading athletes to sign statutory declarations saying they have no history of doping, and false declarations could mean jail terms of up to five years.

Athletes competing at next year's Winter Games in Sochi will be the first to sign the mandatory document in the wake of the recent widespread doping revelations.
