Celtic thrash Dundee United

Glasgow football giants Celtic have strengthened their hold in the Scottish Premier League with a 6-2 demolition of visitors Dundee United.

Hearts' poor season continues with a 3-0 home humiliation by Kilmarnock - the Edinburgh side are third from bottom.

City rivals Hibernian won 1-0 at St. Mirren, Motherwell strengthened their hold on second with a 3-0 home win over third-placed Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County beat visitors St. Johnstone 1-0.
