Centre Jerome Ropati will play his first game in 10 months after being named on the bench for the New Zealand Warriors final NRL pre-season match against the Brisbane Broncos in Dunedin on Saturday night.
Ropati has been sidelined since suffering another knee injury last May.
It is hoped the 28-year-old 11-season veteran will get through the match and be available for their season opener in a fortnight.
Meanwhile loose forward Todd Lowrie will make his first outing for the Warriors after being named to start against the Broncos.
