The German driver Nico Rosberg recorded the fastest time on the first full day of the second session of Formula One testing in Barcelona.
Rosberg was just a fraction of a second faster than Lotus's Kimi Raikkonen, with the Spaniard Fernando Alonso third-fastest in the new Ferrari, just ahead of the three time world champion Sebastian Vettel.
The new season opens in Melbourne on March 17.
