The National Rugby League says clubs have committed to a joint approach to combat the use of performance enhancing drugs in the game.

The League met with representatives from all 16 clubs in Sydney yesterday to discuss a range of issues, including the ongoing investigation of 6 clubs for possible doping violations.

The League says clubs will work with the League's new integrity unit to develop reporting systems and other measures to ensure the sport is drugs free.
