The All Black centre Conrad Smith says New Zealand rugby will cope fine despite the possibility of the midfield stocks being somewhat depleted later this year.
Smith has the option of missing the All Blacks' end-of-year tour, while on Wednesday the Blues player Rene Ranger said he is exploring options in Europe and could head there after playing for Northland.
Smith says this Super Rugby season will throw up plenty of names for the All Black selectors.
However he admits it would be disappointing to see Ranger go.
