New Zealand's double Olympic shot put champion Valerie Adams has thrown a distance further than what she managed at the London Games, in a rare exhibition event in Auckland.
Adams threw the shot 20.75 metres to win the exhibition event, called Shot in the City, against a range of international and local athletes at The Cloud.
In London she threw 20.61 metres.
