The All Whites striker Chris Wood's Leicester City club has drawn 1-1 with visitors Leeds United, to remain in fifth place in the English Football League Championship.

Leaders Cardiff City drew 1-1 at home to Derby County, while Watford moved up to second with a 2-1 home win over Sheffield Wednesday, as Hull City lost 4-2 at Crystal Palace, who consolidated their hold on fourth.

Leicester are 13 points below Cardiff, six behind Palace and two above Brighton and Hove Albion, who had a scoreless away draw at Bristol City.

The top two Championship clubs are automatically promoted to the Premier League, while the third to sixth placed sides play off for the third promotion spot.

Ipswich Town, the club of All Whites sometime captain Tommy Smith, lost 1-0 at Nottingham Forest and are just four points above the relegation zone.
