The Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett has made just one positional change for their Super Rugby match against the Crusaders in Wellington on Friday night.
Victor Vito and Brad Shield swap places with Vito now at number eight and Shields on the blindside.
Vito and hooker Dane Coles will both play their 50th matches for the franchise.
The Hurricanes have lost their first two matches.
