The former All Whites captain Ryan Nelsen's enjoyed his first Major League Soccer win as a coach with his Toronto FC side beating Kansas City 2-1 in their first home match of the season.
It follows last week's season-opening loss to Vancouver.
The win breaks a 15-match winless streak for Toronto.
