The Breakers centre Alex Pledger's become the fourth player from the Auckland based ANBL basketball side to win the competition's player of the week award.
Pledger played a major role in helping his team extend their winning streak to 15 games, with wins over the Cairns Tapians and the Melbourne Tigers, to sit three games clear of the Perth Wildcats at the top of the competition.
The Breakers have two regular season matches left, with their next game against the Melbourne Tigers at the North Shore Events centre on Thursday followed by a trip to Perth to play the Wildcats, a game that's expected to be a preview of the grand final.
