The Chiefs co-captain Liam Messam is to become the first Chief to play 100 Super Rugby matches when the Chiefs play the Southern Kings in South Africa this weekend.
Messam will wear the number six jersey on Saturday in Port Elizabeth while the former All Black lock Ross Filipo will make his debut for the Chiefs at number eight.
Tanerau Latimer will play on the openside flank, relegating the All Black Sam Cane to the reserves.
