Teenage sensation Scott McLaughlin completed a New Zealand clean sweep of the V8 Supercars exhibition round at the Australian Grand Prix with a breakthrough win on Sunday in Melbourne.

McLaughlin, who's 19, confirmed his status as the driver to watch in 2013 when he took out the fourth and final V8 non-championship race at Albert Park, almost two seconds ahead of series leader Craig Lowndes with fellow New Zealander Fabian Coulthard third.

It ensured New Zealand drivers completed a clean sweep, with Coulthard - winner of the opening two races and declared the victor of race three after a technical breach wiped some of V8's biggest names from the result sheet, including yet another Kiwi, Shane van Gisbergen who claimed line honours - named the exhibition round's overall victor ahead of Brad Jones Racing Holden team-mate Jason Bright.
