Auckland racing driver Fabian Coulthard has claimed back to back victories, winning two of the weekend's four V8 Supercar non-championship races, at the Formula One season opener in Melbourne.
Coulthard had never claimed a pole position, race win or top-10 season finish in the category before, but he started on pole for both races, pipping series leader Craig Lowndes in the second, while he won the first from his team-mate Jason Bright.
The third and fourth races are on Saturday and Sunday in the non-championship round.
