Benji Marshall worried about NRL doping crisis

Rugby league superstar Benji Marshall says he is worried about the future of the game in light of the doping crisis that has engulfed the NRL.

As he announced the inaugural winner of his rugby league scholarship program and helped to launch a sports program aimed at combating childhood obesity on Friday, Marshall admitted the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority investigation had him concerned.

He says while he's not worried about himself or his club the crisis has overshadowed the good actions of rugby league players.

Marshall says while overwhelming and embarrassing at times he's accepted the fact he's a role model for children.
