The New Zealand Breakers centre Alex Pledger has continued his stellar form ahead of the NBL Finals Series, winning consecutive National Basketball League Player of the Week awards.
Fresh from two impressive performances in round 22, Pledger picked up where he left off in round 23, dropping 22 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the Breakers convincing 114-84 demolition of the Melbourne Tigers on Thursday night.
The win, the Breakers 16th consecutive victory, was the perfect way for the two-time defending NBL Champions to celebrate a third-straight minor premiership.
