The New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic has been beaten in the first round of singles at the Miami WTA tournament.
Erakovic was beaten in three sets by Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania.
The Aucklander was also beaten in the first round of last week's premier event in Indian Wells.
Erakovic is expected to play doubles in Miami.
