Honduras has drawn 2-2 with visitors Mexico in their World Cup qualifier at Honduras' Olympic Stadium in San Pedro Sula.

The result means Honduras remain top in their North and Central America and Caribbean confederation, with four points. The Mexicans have two points.

Jamaica drew 1-1 with Panama at Kingston's National Stadium, while the United States climbed to second with a 1-0 defeat of Costa Rica in Denver

the other CONCACAF qualifier on Saturday.

The top three in the six-team group left in this fourth round of qualifying go to next year's World Cup in Brazil, while the fourth-placed team plays New Zealand in a home and away intercontinental playoff in November for a spot at the elite tournament.
