Professional tournament commitments means world amateur number one Lydia Ko won't be available for the Queen Sirikit Cup tournament in Taiwan next month.

New Zealand Golf has named a team of Munchin Keh (Titirangi), Julianne Alvarez (Manor Park) and Lita Guo (North Shore).

Ko, who led New Zealand to a runner-up finish in the event in 2012, will be competing on the LPGA Tour in April including contesting the first major of the year the Nabisco major championship.

The Queen Sirikit Cup is an annual contest between 14 nations from the Asia Pacific region - that is officially known as the Amateur Ladies Asia-Pacific Invitational team championship.

New Zealand has won the Queen Sirikit Cup on three occasions (1984, 1990 and 1999).
