Fiji defends Hong Kong sevens title

Fiji has won the Hong Kong rugby sevens title, beating Wales 26-19 in the final.

Wales led 19-0 at half-time, but were then kept scoreless by the defending champions.

New Zealand, who were beaten 33-14 by Fiji in the semi-finals, went on to beat Kenya 36-5 in the third placed play-off.

New Zealand have a 25-point lead over Fiji in the overall standings, with another four points back to Samoa.

There are three rounds remaining with the next event in Japan next weekend.
