Magic unstoppable, Mystics thrashed by Fever

The champion Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic netballers recorded their 14th win in a row dating back to last season, hammering the New South Wales Swifts 61-35 in Tauranga.

Silver Ferns shooter Irene Van Dyk notched 32 goals from 33 attempts for a stunning 97% success rate.

The Magic top the trans-Tasman competition while neighbours the Northern Mystics prop up the bottom of the ANZ Championship, they lost 80-53 in Perth to the West Coast Fever.

Goal shoot Maria Tutaia netted 34 goals from 42 attempts for the Mystics, but the top scorer for the match was the Fever's Caitlin Bassett with 62 from 70.
