Lee third in Brazil

The New Zealand golfer Danny Lee has picked up a shot to finish the third round of the Brazil classic tied for third at 13 under par.

Lee started the round in a share of the lead at 12 under before Chile's Benjamin Alvarado sank five birdies to go to the top of the leaderboard at 17 under par.

Fellow New Zealander Tim Wilkinson is in ninth, three shots behind Lee, after carding a two under 69 at the second tier event in Sao Paulo.

Kiwi Steven Alker was one over for the day to go four under for the tournament, tied for 42nd.
