The Warriors winger Manu Vatuvei is still holding onto a slim hope of making the Kiwis side to take on Australia in the Anzac rugby league test later this month.
Vatuvei returns to the Warriors side for Sunday's home match against unbeaten Souths after being out with injury since round one.
The 20-test veteran would normally be one of the first picked for the national side, but he's not so sure this time.
Vatuvei was originally named on an extended bench for the Rabbitohs game, but he is expected to start as the warriors manage a number of minor injuries in the side.
