Perth Wildcats have plenty to work on

The Perth Wildcats have plenty to work on back home before hosting the New Zealand Breakers in game two of the national basketball league finals series on Friday.

The Breakers are one win away from taking out a third straight title after beating the Wildcats 79-67 last night in Auckland.

To avoid a deciding third game the Breakers will have to overcome a hostile crowd when they meet Perth on their home-soil on Friday.

Cedric Jackson who contributed 14 points says it was a typically physical contest between the league's fiercest rivals and they are looking forward to another tough game.

The visitors coach Rob Beveridge says they did well to lose by only 12 points, given the poor quality of their shooting and says that's an area they can definitely improve on.

The Wildcats co-captain Shawn Redhage says it's going to take a special effort from every player to beat the defending champions but says it very doable, especially on home ground.
