The Central Pulse has scored its first win of the trans-Tasman netball season with a 55-49 victory over the New South Wales Swifts in Wellington.
The Pulse led throughout although they were never ahead by more than four points until the last few minutes of the match.
The 93 percent accuracy of Pulse shooters Caitlin Thwaites and Donna Wilkins contributed greatly to their win.
Meanwhile the Melbourne Vixens moved to the top of the table with a 60-40 win over the Canterbury Tactix in Melbourne.
The Vixens and the Queensland Firebirds are now the only two undefeated sides in the competition while the Tactix and Mystics remain winless.
